The ozone layer is Earth’s protective shield, absorbing harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun. Without it, life on Earth would face increased risks of skin cancer, cataracts, and ecosystem disruptions. At ECI, we are committed to raising awareness and taking action to protect the ozone layer, supporting efforts to eliminate harmful chemicals and promote sustainable practices that safeguard this critical layer.
Global natural resources have undergone long-term depletion due to pressures from expanding anthropogenic activities, including urbanization, expanding farms, and many others that are non-eco-friendly. Tanzania is not exceptional as most urban and rural areas are undergoing massive natural resource deprivation from similar agents.
